Project details

A surface-level parking lot at North Quincy Station is being replaced with a new parking garage as part of a redevelopment of North Quincy MBTA station by Hancock Street partner. This proposed development consist of approximately 610 apartments, 50,000 square feet of retail and separate parking for MBTA commuters, residents, and retail patrons. This is an exciting opportunity for the City, which will bring proven smart-growth planning practices to this gateway location. Above All Lighting LSPKG with motion sensor are applied for this project. The LS series garage lights are the high-performance solution for the most demanding applications within a patented air cooling design. With an expected service life of 70,000 hours and an easy-install design, it provides an affordable initial cost and low total cost of ownership. With high lumen packages and precision refractive optics, the LS series can meet superior illumination performance requirements. 11% uplight and superior low-glare illumination make eyes comfortable, performance up to 136LPW that saves more energy. The optional integrated motion sensor and EBU that ensures the fixture is on when it's needed and dimmed or off when it's not, delivering safety and security when an outage occurs. The junction box makes it so easy for surface or pendant mount. An optional handheld wireless configuration tool enables contractors and end-users to customize sensor control settings remotely. IP65 rated, no ingress of water projected in powerful jets from any direction when cleaning the garage. LSPKG65301P-MS-L2B  359PCS and LSPKG65301P-MS-L7B 15PCS are installed for this project.
